On December 26, 2021 the Order of the Ministry of Health of Russia from 17.11.2021 N 1060n “On approval of requirements to the certificate of absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection), presented by foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in the Russian Federation, form, description of the form and validity period of the certificate”, which establishes the requirements for the HIV certificate (language, form, content, validity period), will come into force.

In essence, the content is similar to the previous requirements (the Order of the Ministry of Health of Russia of 09.01.2019 N 1n “On Approval of Requirements to the Certificate of Absence of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV infection) presented by foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in the Russian Federation” is no longer in force).

The HIV certificate issued to foreigners by medical organizations on the territory of the Russian Federation shall be filled out in Russian and drawn up on the prescribed form.

The certificate issued by medical organizations on the territory of foreign countries when presented to diplomatic missions or consular offices of the Russian Federation shall be filled out in English.

The validity period has not changed and is still 3 months from the date of issuance of the certificate.
