Recent practice on military registration of our clients' companies

In May 2024, we faced a new situation in which military commissions began issuing fines of 40,000 rubles to officials responsible for military registration when companies bring documents for registration. The fines are issued, among other things, for violations that may relate to periods before October 2023, when the amounts of fines were significantly increased. Such claims are not always legitimate, and it is possible to challenge the amount of the fine or the limitation period in court.
