Launch of the pilot project on digital labeling of motor oils was carried out by the order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 1, 2024
The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with NPP “Atameken” and JSC “Kazakhtelecom” is implementing a pilot project on marking and traceability of motor oils for the period of implementation until February 1, 2025.
It is planned to involve all market participants in the pilot project – from producers and importers to companies in the wholesale and retail segment.
The pilot project for labeling and traceability of motor oils involves the introduction of special marking codes that will be used to identify and trace products all the way from the manufacturer to the end consumer.
