It is planned to specify that severance pay in the event of the liquidation of an organization or redundancy is also due to employees who, after dismissal from their main place of work, continue to work on a part-time basis (subparagraph “a” of paragraph 1 of the draft).

Similarly, it is planned to amend the guarantees for employees performing their duties in the Far North and equated areas (subparagraph “a” of paragraph 2 of the draft).

This is due to the fact that at the end of last year the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation pointed out that in case of reduction or liquidation from the main place of work, payments for the period of employment are due even to those employees who have a part-time job.
