News about quotas for attracting foreign workers

The schedule for submitting and reviewing applications for the need to attract foreign workers with changes in Moscow for 2023-2024 has been published

By Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia No. 171n dated 16.03.2023, the deadlines for accepting and reviewing applications for the need to attract foreign workers have been reduced:

• By the commission of the Russian Federation subject – from 25 to 15 days from the date of receipt of the employer’s application, applications from the employer regarding an increase (decrease) in the size of the need;
• By the authorized body of the Russian Federation subject – from 30 to 20 days from the date of receipt of the employer’s application.

The list of non-quotable positions and professions has been expanded.

Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia No. 459n dated 15.05.2023 “On the Approval of the List of Professions (Specialties, Positions) of Foreign Citizens – Qualified Specialists Employed in Their Existing Profession (Specialty) for which quotas for issuing visas and work permits to foreign citizens arriving in the Russian Federation do not apply” (Registered with the Ministry of Justice of Russia on 14.06.2023 No. 73830)

The order comes into effect on 15.12.2023.
