In accordance with the Federal Law dated 24.06.2023 N 274-FZ from September 01, 2023 amendments came into force, providing for the introduction of liability for:

  1. Distribution of Internet advertising without an identifier or in violation of the requirements for its placement. The fine will be up to 500,000 rubles (Article 14.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code).
  2. Failure by an advertiser, advertiser-distributor or advertising system operator to fulfill the obligation to provide information or the obligation to ensure the provision of information on advertising disseminated on the Internet to the federal executive authority responsible for control and supervision of the mass media, mass communications, information technologies and communications in accordance with advertising legislation, or violation of the established deadlines for the fulfillment of such obligations.

Requirements for the self-employed

Self-employed persons must indicate their surname, name, patronymic and taxpayer identification number in advertising goods when selling them remotely. Previously, only sole proprietorships and companies had to do this. The amendments come into force on September 1 (Federal Law No. 302-FZ of 10.07.2023).
