From February 2, 2024, restrictions on the export of cattle and small cattle are introduced.

Restriction is introduced for 6 months on export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to third countries and to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union of live cattle in the amount of 60,000 heads of steers and 120,000 heads of lambs (sheep and goats).

New rules for the distribution of quantitative restrictions (quotas) are also coming into effect.

From February 3, a six-month ban on exports from Kazakhstan, including to the EAEU member states unprocessed fish: other fresh or chilled fish (pikeperch), catfish fresh or chilled, except for clare (African) catfish, catfish frozen, except for clare (African) catfish, other freshwater fish, frozen (pikeperch).
