From February 1, 2024, a number of benefits and support measures provided by the Social Fund of Russia will be indexed by 7.4% – in accordance with the inflation rate for the previous year, as determined by Rosstat.

Will increase:

  • the maximum amount of lump sum and monthly payments for workplace injuries;
  • social allowance for burial;
  • benefits to citizens with children. Thus, the lump-sum benefit at the birth of a child will amount to 24.6 thousand rubles;
  • monthly payment to disabled persons;
  • maternity capital. For the first child it will grow from 586.9 thousand to 630.4 thousand rubles, and for the second and subsequent children (if not received for the first child) – from 775.6 thousand to almost 834 thousand rubles. If the family has already spent part of the capital funds, its balance will be indexed.
