Decision No. 94 of the EEC Council of September 27, 2023 on the increased threshold of duty-free importation of goods for personal use expired and from April 1, 2024 the duty-free threshold returned to its previous level:

  • for goods imported in accompanied or unaccompanied baggage by means of transportation other than by air or on foot, the value does not exceed the equivalent of 500 euros and (or) the weight does not exceed 25 kg;
  • for goods delivered by carrier or sent in international mail, the value does not exceed the equivalent of EUR 200 and (or) the gross weight does not exceed 31 kg.
