As of June 17, 2023, some resolutions of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation related to countering the spread of COVID-19 have been repealed (Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated May 15, 2023, No. 4).
In particular, the provisions of the resolutions establishing the following are canceled:

- Mandatory laboratory testing for COVID-2019 for the following categories of individuals:
- Those returning to the territory of the Russian Federation with symptoms of respiratory diseases;
- Those returning within 2 weeks from European countries or transiting from European countries, as well as all individuals returning from international trips within a month and seeking medical assistance for the onset of cold symptoms;
- Those who have had contact with a COVID-2019 patient, and others.
- Compliance with the requirement of a 14-day isolation period upon arrival in Russia for foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving for the purpose of employment.
- Maintaining a distance of at least 1 meter from other individuals, including in public places and public transport, for all categories of citizens.
- Compliance by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs with recommendations for organizing the work schedule of employees, including:
- Mandatory disinfection of contact surfaces (furniture, office equipment, etc.) in all premises throughout the day;
- Use of air disinfection equipment in indoor spaces;
- Availability of a supply of disinfectants for cleaning premises and hand sanitization for employees;
- Restriction of international business trips;
- Use of audio and video conferencing for meetings and decision-making (when technically feasible).
- Restrictions on holding mass events;
- Other provisions related to measures to counter the spread of COVID-19.

The following have been repealed:
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated January 31, 2020, No. 3 “On the implementation of additional sanitary and preventive measures to prevent the importation and spread of the new coronavirus infection caused by 2019-nCoV”;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated March 13, 2020, No. 6 “On additional measures to reduce the risks of COVID-2019 spread”;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated March 30, 2020, No. 9 “On additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-2019”;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated April 3, 2020, No. 10 “On amending the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated March 30, 2020, No. 9 “On additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-2019”;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated April 13, 2020, No. 11 “On amending the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated March 30, 2020, No. 9 “On additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-2019”;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated July 15, 2020, No. 21 “On amending the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated March 30, 2020, No. 9 “On additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19”;
- Item 2 of the amendments to the resolutions of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated March 18, 2020, No. 7 “On ensuring isolation to prevent the spread of COVID-19” and dated March 30, 2020, No. 9 “On additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” approved by the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated July 27, 2020, No. 22;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated July 7, 2021, No. 18 “On measures to limit the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-2019) on the territory of the Russian Federation in cases of mass events”;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated October 26, 2021, No. 26 “On amending the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated July 7, 2021, No. 18 “On measures to limit the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-2019) on the territory of the Russian Federation in cases of mass events”;
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated December 4, 2021, No. 35 “On amending the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated July 7, 2021, No. 18 “On measures to limit the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-2019) on the territory of the Russian Federation in cases of mass events”;
- Subsection 1.2 of paragraph 1 of the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation dated June 20, 2022, No. 18 “On specific provisions of the resolutions of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation on issues related to the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19)”.
