On April 1, 2026, amendments to the rules for the provision of public services “State registration of legal entities, accounting registration of their branches and representative offices” and “State re-registration of legal entities, accounting re-registration of their branches and representative offices” will come into force in Kazakhstan.
According to the new requirements, the registration and re-registration of commercial organizations will be carried out in the personal presence of the founder in cases provided for by the internal control rules of the registering authority, which are adopted on the basis of the requirements of the authorized body for financial monitoring.
Notification of the need for the founder’s personal presence will be sent to the service recipient’s personal account on the e-government web portal.
The procedure for confirming the address when submitting an electronic application is also clarified: the location of the legal entity, branch (representative office) indicated in the application must be confirmed by the consent of the owner (owners) of the property. The accuracy of the address of the legal entity’s location will be verified automatically through the integration of information systems using data from the Address Register.
