Workshop “5 Keys of Engagement” for managers and specialists

From February 17 to 20, 2025, a unique express course on lean manufacturing organized by Konsu Company in cooperation with the Business Growth Institute was held in St. Petersburg. As part of the course, participants studied key aspects of implementing a culture of continuous improvement in organizations and learned how to engage employees in the change process. Konsu specialists shared their practices and achievements, for which they received the highest praise and gratitude from the participants for their openness and willingness to share their experience. The event was attended by representatives of companies implementing Lean practices from all over Russia.

The program of the event included:

1. LEAN-excursion in Konsu
   The participants visited the company’s office in St. Petersburg, where they familiarized themselves with the successful implementation of LEAN manufacturing principles. Heads of departments told about their own experience in improving business processes, transition to paperless document management, reduction of archive space and other significant achievements.

2. Workshop “5 Keys of Involvement”
   Participants learned how to create an atmosphere in which every employee of the company thinks about what else can be improved. The workshop covered a number of key topics including:
   • LEAN leadership and creating a Kaizen culture
   • Tangible and intangible motivation systems for employees
   • LEAN-style coaching to increase engagement
   • Creating an effective “Idea Factory” with a regular flow of suggestions for improvements.

Results:

Course participants gained unique knowledge and tools to implement continuous improvement in their work. They learned how to increase the efficiency of business processes by 20% and create a sustainable culture of change in the organization by involving all employees in the process.
