The Federal Tax Service is changing the electronic interaction for the reception of appeals by taxpayers

The Federal Tax Service will stop accepting informalized appeals from taxpayers via EDM operators.

The refusal to accept appeals will take place in 2025 in stages:

• On July 1, the maximum file size was reduced from 5 to 1 MB;
• On October 1, the use of specialized applications will be stopped;
• On November 1, the acceptance of informalized appeals will be completely stopped.

It is already possible to use the federal information system “Feedback Platform” EPGU (implemented by the Ministry of Finance of Russia), Personal Cabinets of the taxpayer, as well as other electronic services. Appeals can be sent both according to approved formats and in free form.

The Ministry notes that other tax administration processes available to taxpayers through EDM operators will remain in place.
