The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) continues to develop its support infrastructure for participants by expanding access to advisory and support services in the regions.

In early February, the AIFC Client Office was opened at the AIFC to facilitate interaction between clients and the Center’s specialists on matters related to conducting business within the AIFC’s jurisdiction. A team of expert consultants provides support on practical aspects of business operations, helps navigate regulatory requirements, and explains specific nuances of operating within the financial center.

On February 19, a new branch of the Expat Center opened in Almaty, where clients can receive consultations on visa and immigration issues and residency status, as well as information support regarding the loyalty program, including special offers and partner benefits.

The specialists at the Expat Center assist clients with:

  • understand the requirements for extending visa and immigration status, including the grounds, deadlines, and applicable rules;
  • determine the list of required documents, the requirements for their preparation, and ensure they are properly completed;
  • select the appropriate support format and understand the next steps;
  • receive clarification on administrative procedures related to residence and activities within the jurisdiction of the IFCA.

Applications are submitted online via the official MFCA portal, ensuring transparency of procedures and convenient interaction.

At the same time, in accordance with the current territorial regulations, the formal processing of government procedures for MFCA participants continues to take place in Astana.

The pilot site in Almaty functions as an additional channel for support and service assistance. At this stage, it does not involve the on-site presence of government officials and serves an advisory role.

The development of regional sites makes IFCA services more accessible, speeds up the processing of requests, and improves the quality of customer service.
